Thelma

Meet Thelma At 11 years young, This Golden girl Thelma is a sweet and sprightly Spaniel-Golden mix (our best guess!) who’s ready to share her golden years with someone special. She may be a senior, but she still has plenty of personality and joy to share! Thelma is great on leash and enjoys going out for quick potty breaks — but long walks aren’t really her thing these days. She’s more of a “stroll and sniff” kind of gal who prefers her comfy dog bed or a cozy spot on the couch. This lovely lady is completely housebroken, sleeps quietly through the night, and has wonderful manners. She adores people and gets along well with most dogs — she’s just an all-around sweetheart with a calm, friendly energy. When Thelma arrived at our rescue, we discovered she has diabetes. She takes insulin twice a day like a champ and isn’t fazed by it at all. She’s otherwise happy, content, and ready to enjoy life by your side. Thelma is looking for a home where she can be loved, spoiled, and cherished — a place to enjoy long naps, soft toys, gentle affection, and the simple joy of companionship. If you’re ready to open your heart to a truly special senior, Thelma is ready to love you with her whole heart. Click here for Application

Powder

Powder is a 10-year-old Bichon 25 Lb Poodle mix with a laid-back vibe that makes him the perfect companion. This sweet senior boy is as low-maintenance as they come—housebroken, quiet, and totally content with the simple joys in life. Powder lives for belly rubs and gets adorably excited when it’s time for a walk or a car ride. He enjoys his meals twice a day and patiently waits for his bowl to be placed down—no jumping, no begging, just good manners and a wagging tail. He’s gentle when taking treats from your hand and sleeps soundly through the night. You won’t find Powder on the couch—he’s perfectly happy curling up on the floor next to you. When you’re not home, he likes to relax on the kitchen floor and never makes a fuss. No barking, no chewing, no separation anxiety—just a happy pup waiting for you to return. Powder gets along beautifully with other dogs and people, and he’s never shown a hint of aggression. He’s calm, friendly, and just wants to be near his people. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving dog who’s easy to care for and full of quiet joy, Powder might just be the one to steal your heart. Click here for Application

Lola

Lola is a sweet, approximately 5-year-old Havapoo (our best guess!) who has blossomed into a wonderful, easy companion in her foster home. After a short adjustment period, she has shown herself to be affectionate, calm, and eager to be near her person without being clingy. She will follow her foster mom around the house, quietly looking for reassurance, and simply wants to be close by. Lola enjoys resting and sleeping in her crate, and she’s a quiet girl who does not bark excessively. She’s polite around food and never begs. On walks, Lola is a dream: she loves long, leisurely strolls, doesn’t pull, and often turns back to look for reassurance with the sweetest eyes. She has even learned to wait at the door until given permission to go out—what a good girl! She’s friendly with other dogs and has been neutral and respectful around them, and she will gently approach strangers for pets. Lola enjoys being outside in a yard, especially if her person is nearby, soaking in the sunshine and quiet moments. While she isn’t a lap dog, Lola’s happiest place is simply near you, whether you’re reading, working, or relaxing. She has not shown separation anxiety when her foster leaves, though she currently has the comfort of another dog, so a home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches would be ideal. Lola will be a loving, easygoing companion for a calm household ready to give her the gentle reassurance she seeks, daily walks, and the joy of being near her favorite person. Leonardo

Leonardo is a 12-week-old white and grey kitten. Named after the fearless leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leo is confident, curious, and always the first to explore something new. Whether it’s a crinkly toy or an open lap, he’s all in! What truly makes Leonardo special is his sweet, steady nature. He’s playful without being wild, and affectionate without being clingy—a perfect blend of energy and charm. He shares a close bond with his sister April, the gentle heart of the litter. While Leonardo can be adopted on his own, we’d love to see him go home with April if possible—their bond is truly something special. Why Adopting Two Kittens Is the Cat’s Meow: Constant Companionship: They keep each other company, especially when you’re away. Built-in Playmate: Kittens learn through play—having a sibling helps them burn energy and stay out of mischief. Social & Emotional Development: They teach each other important social cues and adjust better to new environments together. Twice the Cuteness: And really, who could say no to that? We will consider single adoptions, but our preference is to adopt these four kittens out in pairs when possible. Leonardo and April would make an absolutely purr-fect duo for a home ready for double the love and double the fun. Click here for Application
